Dindigul Malai-Kottai

The Dindigul Fort or Dindigul Malai Kottai and Abirami amman Kalaheswarar Temple was built in 16th-century by Madurai Nayakar Dynasty situated in the town of Dindigul in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The fort was built by the Madurai Nayakar king Muthu Krishnappa Nayakar in 1605

Kodaikanal Hill

Kodaikanal is a town and hill station in Dindigul district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated at an altitude of 2,225 m (7,300 ft) in the Palani hills of the Western Ghats. Kodaikanal was established in 1845 to serve as a refuge from the high temperatures and tropical diseases during the summer in the plains. It is a popular tourist destination and is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" with much of the local economy is based on the hospitality industry serving tourism. As per the 2011 census, the city had a population of 36,501.

Pazhani Temple

It is one among the famous six temples of Murugan, all located in Tamil Nadu. Palani is located in Dindigul District and is an important pilgrimage spot for Hindus. Additionally, the temple sits on the foothills of Palani hills. The temple is a mystery as no-one knows when it was constructed. Nine poisons, called ‘Navapashanam’, amalgamated to create the idol.

Oddanchatram Market

Oddanchatram has the second largest Vegetable market in Tamil Nadu and a large Cattle market. As of 2011, the town had a population of 30,064. It is known as the vegetable city of Tamil Nadu. Almost 70% of the vegetables from this market is sent to Kerala and remaining is sent to other states. Agriculture is the major economy for the town.
